Sliding Down Sandy Stuff (Flynn)

Sliding down sandy stuff by Flynn
Quivering, my legs proceed up the hill. Dawdling up the sand, my feet become closer to the tip. Hesitating I slowly slide towards the edge of the bank.

Sliding down the sand, my shriek descends down the river below me. Wobbling side to side, my legs seized as I slap the bottom. Trudging up the hill again, my second attempt falls into place.

Smashing the water with my face, my heart rapidly beats.  I struggle to get back up. Panicking, my blood bubbles through my veins as my breath shortens. Breaking the surface my head head fires out of the water consuming air. The shambolic thought of dying fades away.

In term 1 we made a piece of art shaped as a Koru, I colored mine red because they were all based on the house we are in I am in kakapo. My house catch line is "kia Wehi", it means relation ships so i did mine in a heart shape. personally I thought that mine was extremely great because it really stood out.

       Squidgy feet
by Flynn

The tension in my veins build up like a chemical reaction. One step in front of the other my nerves take the better of me. My legs begin to quiver.

My hands grip on to the muddied grass. My face murmurs as as my feet dip into the water. The abhorrent thought of squidgy feet became true.

The river laughed at me as the sad look under my eyes becomes stronger. I slowly scuttle across the rocks as my shoes start caving in with liquid. My saturated shoes groaned like a lonely baby in the night.

Flynn Integrity

                         Integrity games by Flynn

With Mrs Hobbs this term, we have been making up our own integrity games to learn and practice to present to Rata team ( 5-6 year old kids ). My group teamed up with another group from a different class.

The groups that came to us were very interesting to deal with, some weren't listing,  some were off task and one even peed his pants. over all I believe that 99.903% of the kids were happy and enjoyed their day
